New HMIS Data Standards Released
On May 1st, HUD, in collaboration with the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) and the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) released the final version of the 2014 HMIS Data Standards. In coming months, HUD and partners will release additional guidance, including the HMIS final rule. These data standards will be in effect on October 1, 2014 and programmed into our HMIS no later than that date.
